どうも。 私です。 after 4 years of struggling in uni, i finally graduated. though as i said in a previous post that i passed back in 2020, i was only able to attend an actual graduation ceremony in 2021, conveniently the weekend just before my sister's wedding. why'd i wait for a year, you ask? you see, back when the pandemic had just started we all thought it was gonna end in the blink of an eye, none of us expected that it'd go on for so long. so i thought if i kept waiting i'd eventually be able to attend an offline grad. but alas. the pandemic did go on for that long, so i ended up signing up for the online ceremony. have some pictures of a milestone in my life!  the flowers i received from my sister (and her now-husband) and my friends! unpictured was a teddy bear dressed in grad gown that someone somehow got me god knows when haha.  i invited the very few friends i had to celebrate with me but of course, in true people fashion, only a few of the already very few actually came out to see me. not that i'm salty or anything but the audacity of them to not let me know??? i know they were busy and had other duties to attend to but how they didn't even think of letting me know that they wouldn't be able to make it when i'd expressively invited them, i don't even get. at the very least if they did tell me they wouldn't be able to make it, i wouldn't be holding out hope that they'd come or i'd know to wait or just head home early. but anyway. very very very thankful for the ones who did set aside their affairs to come out to see me! much lovs. pictured are folks that have been there from day one, whether it was during primary school or uni     special shoutout to my dearest mother for sewing my grad dress in the speed of lightning! i know you can't really see how it is here but it had one of those dress styles that i've always liked. always, always grateful for her. also to my brother-in-law for being our designated photographer for the day LOL.  i'll write up a post rounding off the year someday when i'm bothered but i guess i'll tell you now that my 2022 kinda...sucked? in general. like there were just more god awful things that happened that outweighed the good and fun. anyway more details soon! probably. aside from all the arashi music i've been listening to, i've been indulging myself in more sexyzone, king&prince and jwest contents! honestly sz is SO underrated, i don't know why their fanbase isn't as big as i thought it was because they're incredible! don't get me wrong though, i love our little circle of fans. all of them can sing/harmonise so so well, all of their personalities shine through the tv, yet they're somehow all different??? to me they ended up being the same as arashi where i have one bias/ichiban/oshi but the other 4 members are literally fighting everyday to take the position. that being said, my ichiban in sz is shori aka japan's most handsome dude. literally though, he got a 98% or something when an AI analysed his face in terms of ikemen-ness. he's also the centre in sz which was the right move in johnny's part because his face was what drew me in sz in the start LOL. but like i said before. i equally love the other 4. just like how it is with arashi. 5 is my treasure number, indeed. i know for a while i've listed "last day in sydney/australia" as an upcoming post on the left, but i don't have that post saved in my drafts which means i'd have to dig through my hard drives for the photos, and to be candid with y'all, i don't know if i have the energy to do that LOL. maybe when That Time Of The Year comes i'd somehow be motivated to. but for now i'm giving a heads up that i probably won't be writing about that anytime soon hehe. same goes with the "theme park ft f4" because. i just. do not give anymore. basically anything i listed there before 2018-2019 that i still haven't gotten around to i probably won't end up writing about them. but i'll also come up with new stuff to write about that happened more recently in my life just so i can keep coming back to this blog and somehow get motivated to post more HAHAHA although so far nothing major really happened to me. coz. yknow what happened. you, reading this: どうでもいいけど？
      typical work/intern days include:      during the weekends we went to lots and lots of places! mainly with boyf (as i've mentioned) but also with citra. it felt like she was the only friend i had in that big city but it wasn't like she was actually my only friend LOL i had my whole squad in jakarta at the same time, and my src friends were mostly there as well. but they were there because it was their home so obviously them being back home would also bring out house rules and curfews. and mostly because we were all there to intern so weekdays = work days sigh. jobs to do, places to be, things to finish, sleep schedules to maintain. most of the time i would come over to her place to sleepover and just talk shit about both of our living alone for the first time moments ahahaha. bless her.   on weekdays boyf kept saying that it's okay for me to ask for him to accompany me places after work but he finishes pretty late and i just felt bad because his house is like an hour away from his workplace lmao rip. but at least his workplace wasn't even 10 mins away from my place LOL perks. during the weekends we went to dufan which i haven't gone to in more than a decade holy shit, can you believe. i can't say that much has changed around there because last time i went i was like SIX YEARS OLD but i do remember some things that didn't change. why did we have to visit dufan twice, you ask? because i bought a yearly pass (it was all they had) and i didn't want it to go to waste lmao. other weekends we went to jakarta aquarium as it was in one of the places i wanted to visit, museum macan for the same reason, went on movie runs, starbucks runs while doing our individual work, etcetc. all good things, all good things.    my birthday coincidentally fell during a saturday and during my time in jakarta! so obviously boyf and i took this fucking golden opportunity to celebrate it together without a care in the world. i mean, i wasn't home!!! imagine. so we went to museum BI (bank indonesia), walked around kota tua, had lunch in kfc bc if i remember it was the only decent place around there to get food HAHAHA. afterwards we went somewhere in north jakarta to get kripsy kreme AHHHHH best donuts on earth. the day before (friday) he actually came over to my place after work and pulled out an uncle tetsu cheesecake at midnight  this dude.... i mentioned it to him once while we were out that people said uncle tetsu has one of the best fluffy cheesecake and that i'd never tasted it anddddd he pulled it out on my birthday i cant    grocery runs were also accompanied by le boyf as i needed a personal transport medium which i didn't have but he did (and because i wanted to be accompanied hehehe). can i also just say though, car rides with boyf are fun as fuck maybe because back here we can't do those. idk, it feels so refreshing to see him actually drive a car yknow. meh anyway. after intern officially ended i had a week to myself until mum and sis visits me in jakarta and we all inevitably go home together. i decided to spend the week by staying in (more) and going out to the national library! boiiiiii let me tell y'all. it was gorgeous. the place was super duper comfortable to stay all day in, the wifi was stable, the ac was the right temperature, everything was perfect. no registration fee, had a cafeteria, man do i regret not going there sooner. i long for a place like that here in my hometown but so far there's none that compares to the national library. the sheer cozyness. damn.    throughout my whole time in jakarta, i took my disposable camera with me! definitely still learning the basics and hacks on how to shoot film properly, so not a lot of shots turned out as hoped. but the ones that did, i love them all!!!! aaaghhhhh   and soooo as the week ended, mum and sis came over and we all eventually went home together. back to reality of uni! my time in jakarta was so eventful and i'd definitely do it again in a heartbeat. jakarta, i miss you already!   thanku for reading, yet again!

back in may i attended my first
we had our graduation in a conference hall of a huge hotel in the city (quite close to where i live tbh) and as per usual, i arrived late lmao.
     
the grad itself took about mmm 6 hours from start to finish and we all headed home to get ready for (in)formal that night. except me. mum got so hungry she stopped by a restaurant while i was still in my graduation get up
 
later that night we had an (in)formal! unfortunately it wasn't as glamorous as the typical prom/formal people in the usa or australia have which honestly i'm glad about lol. i came in a long ass dress that my mum made, met up with my friends and had fun. (that sounded so flat i'm sorry but it really was fun)
     
and that's about it!
life update corner;
idk if i've said this, but i got accepted into a uni in town! bummed that i failed my escape plan to go to a uni outside of town, but glad that i at least got into a uni. also got in my desired course! couldn't be more happier. we're already approaching our midterms in like a week or something so time went by so quickly! just when i thought i had bonded well enough with my classmates, we'll get brutally ripped apart from each other and thrown out into the wilderness yet again. /sigh. on the other hand, i've been so busy with assignments that are coincidentally due the same day so that has put me off chatting to people who aren't talking about the assignments that i have LOL. i feel so bad for replying to them like 6 hours later but i really am hella busy these days. sometimes i wish they could just stop chatting for a week and leave me the heck alone. it's for their own good too, imo. what am i even talking about ughhhhhh
