goals were reached. i intern-ed in jakarta. for the first time in my life i was let and able to live by myself. of course it was tough at first, when you already live your whole life under the same roof of your parents you start to develop a reliability towards them. and having that taken away from you in just a couple of days is obviously tough. the first few days of my intern was incredibly hard too. a lot of major changes we didn't sign up for happened, even right on our first day. but i'm grateful for the opportunity. approaching my last year in uni, a lot of emotions went through. with most of my friends already jetting off towards their own efforts to graduate, i was still stuck on the ground. i struggled so hard and kept thinking that everybody has their own pace, their own time. we may not start the same things at the same time but that doesn't mean we won't finish at the same time, vice versa. but it's so fucking hard when at the same time there's nothing you can do about it. you can't stop time, you can't stop them. "it's too late" and "everybody's going to leave me soon", were two strings of thoughts that ran by me almost everyday. tbh, even to this day LOL. but it's okay. with the new year and my second half of last uni year, i'm more determined than ever to jet off with my own goals as the destination. let's do this! #2020lulus, #2020SKom. -bn.
