hello!!

i guess this is a long overdue post that no one will ever read but anyway here goes the bali trip post that our family took back in dec'15!

can't exactly remember the order in which these pictures went, but here we go anyway. basically on one day we went to this traditional village which was made a tourist spot because it was so bali and the villagers knew tourists/foreigners would love to see what it would look like. how so bali LOL. literally every house looked the same, they all had the same kind of buildings on their little patch of land, each patch consisting of their actual house, a "souvenir" shop and a worshiping thingy for their everyday prayers to their individual gods. it was so cute! everything was still so traditional and so well-managed. (what am i rambling on about lol lets move on already).

on another day we went to a rice field which were somehow placed not on a flat land but somehow had like a staircase effect type of thing which aren't normally anywhere else except bali. this was pretty boring (soz) because i mean, cmon, i live in indonesia and that itself is pretty asian and the back of my house is literally a rice field LOL okay. there were mini huts which sold souvenirs and handmade goodies and blablabla yknow the drill.

ofc, we couldn't afford to miss going to the most popular beach of bali, kuta beach! we went with our cousins and it was so much fun! unfortunately we were short one family as they couldn't go due to work but nonetheless it was still such a memorable experience. as always, the sunset was blocked by a few troll clouds but we did manage to get some good shots using cousin's trusty go pro camera and wide lens clipped on phones. overall, twas a good 4 day getaway before yr12 major exams attacked hahaha.

so next week is my last week of highschool ever! i get so depressed when i think about this. the thought of just parting ways with your friends and going off on your own into this huuuge world is hella terrifying wow. there'll be days when you just won't be able to joke around with your friends anymore, skip classes together, eat while bitchin about other bitches, gossip, and just basically roam around the school grounds. but i guess we all have different ways of thinking, there are some who are just stoked to leave school and set off to uni life and are wholeheartedly glad to be able to finally leave the hell that is high school. i mean, for me, it gets annoying and stressful at first but when you come to realise that you've made such awesome memories in that very place, you'll not want to leave that place at all even if you must. point is, i'm going to really treasure this last week while i'm still labelled as a high school student haha. let's not talk about what comes after this yet, okay.
