lanterns are a great way to brighten up your room. i got mine from Typo for $20. i usully light them at certain times when i don't feel good sleeping with a completely dark room haha.

this is actually a great way to "display" your pictures in your room ! you can stick some of your most favourite photos up and add some more as time goes by  this part of the wall in my room is my faourite, because it's so full of memories and people i treasure a lot  i stuck the photos up with blutack, just so when i remove them it doesn't stick to the wall and leave a horrifying spot lol. i call mine "The Wall of Fame". hehe.

every girl's room has to have at east one doll/plush toy ! they are great for something to vent out on, which i always do. sometimes, just the presence of a bunny plush toy makes the night a whole lot better, know what i mean ?

i bought some of these pegs in Morning Glory back when we were still in sydney, for about $5 if i recall. comes with a rope, and you can hang your fav photos or lightweight stuff. i hung some of my hair accessories although tbh they look a lil messy i should clean up around soon.

i didn't have a cork board or the sort, so i simply used a scrapbook paper for the background of my to-do / goals lists and stuck it on the wall with blutack. another "background" that looks awesome is a sushi roller ! (is that what it's called ?) they make cute yet simple wall decoration.
