so for the past few months i was under heavy pressure and fell into depression because of school and how it was just too much etc. i thought it was impossible for me to advance to year 11 but when i got my reports, i did it! i passed year 10! i was so thrilled, all the weight on my shoulders slowly became lighter, my mood got better by the day, and i was finally back to my normal self just like when i was in sydney, so my dad said. right now we're on holiday because of ramadhan and we're a few days away from eid! so excited to spend it together with my cousins for the first time in 5 years :D

back in january mum promised if i get through year 10 she would buy me a polaroid camera ; m ; and she was going to, until dad stepped in and was all like "forget the polaroid, i'll buy you a new phone". but the phone i had was healthy (as in not broken yet etc) so at first i was like "meh, i'll just get the polaroid" but dad had this look of unwilling-ness everytime i mention "polaroid" so after a long hard think, i decided to just once, go with what dad said. and so i got a new phone *cue yay sfx*. although i made dad promise to consider getting me a polaroid someday when it's fitting.
